This stuff tastes Great ( I’ve used both Double-Chocolate and Strawberry mixed in with Vanilla Yogurt or Milk ). My only complaint is that they are sweetened with artificial sweeteners ( Sucralose aka “Splenda” for Strawberry, Acesulfame Potassium aka “Sweet One” for Double-Rich-Chocolate ). Amazon does not mention this and it is not spelled out on the container itself ( only listed under ingredients with their chemical names). I’m concerned as there have been no long-term human studies conducted to determine the potential health effects of Splenda on humans. Until long-term human studies are conducted, no one will know for sure whether Splenda is really safe or unsafe for humans to eat. Unfortunately, used in a Protein powder, a person is likely to consume quite a bit of this stuff (3-4 servings a day for me). They have a Natural Whey product with no artificial sweeteners that I think I will switch to ( contains natural fructose instead ).

A few things to note about the powder – not technical but good just the same – first when mixing use a fork not a spoon, the tines act like the blades of a blender and break up the lumps without frothing the mixture. second, added a couple of dashes of cinnamon and cayenne pepper, the spice kicks it up and keeps it from getting boring. put the mixture in a freezer to get a little thickening, it’s great! so far the most grams of protein with the least carbs. i also use skim milk and sometimes organic skim, have not yet had the courage to try soy yet, maybe someday.

I started buying protein shakes back in high school and one after another they tasted DISGUSTING!! You couldn’t wait to get it down and the pain of actually having any of that stuff hit your taste buds…uggh! So I looked online and found out that Optimum Nutrition supposedly makes good tasting whey protein powders. Well they aren’t just good, they’re actually GREAT! This is the only type of protein I’ve bought since then. Chocolate was the best flavor and they expanded on it with mint chocolate, double rich chocolate, chocolate shake, creamy chocolate, and now “extreme” chocolate. Basically, if you buy a chocolate flavored optimum nutrition shake, you’re getting the best tasting protein out there for that price, hands down.

Actually tastes like chocolate. Even when using water to mix with. I use two scoops in my coffee in the morning and it’s awesome, almost mocha like. Super easy to mix, doesn’t need a blender. I put it in a nalgene with water and just shake it and it mixes fine with no clumps. Gives me heartburn though, but then again everything else does too so I cant really blame the powder.

Would recommend this to anyone. Taste, ingredients, price and quality are top notch. Great with water or 0%milk. Mixes well with a spoon or shaker cup.

I like this product a lot because of all the quality supplements that are included. This, however, is not the best tasting flavor. I bought it so that I wouldn’t be tired of the Double Rich Chocolate flavor. Turns out, I got tired of this flavor way earlier. Stick with Double Rich Chocolate.

Muscle Milk-High Protein Shake Mix Review
It’s difficult for me to say how effective this fat/protein/carbo combination works compared to other muscle building shakes which consist of mainly whey protein, but it does indeed help burn fat (when combined with regular exercise of course) and it tastes great. So many health shakes taste chalky or just plain bad, but this product really tastes great mixed with skim milk. I highly recommend it.

The strawberries n’ creme is the worst muscle milk flavor I’ve tried so far. It’s not horrible, but it tastes like medicine. When mixed with water it’s really difficult to drink, but better when with milk.

I’ve been reading quite a few reviews on Muscle Milk just to get a feel if others shared my experiences with it. What I find is just about half the reviews talk about nothing more than how great it tastes. That would be fine if the product were a very expensive milkshake, but it’s a muscle enhancing product and there are little details in these reviews about whether or not it worked for them. So let me share. Yes, it did give me results. I am 41, 6′1, 210 lbs and after using MM for about 6 weeks there was a very noticable expansion of lean muscle and reduction of fat, particularly around my midsection. I am not new at this, I have been working out since I was in my early 20s. Tried lots of different products all pledging to do everything but change my oil. I have been MM for three years now, cycling it every 6 weeks when in heavy training and for 2-3 months when training light. Yes, it does deliver. And yes, it does contain a lot of sugar and fat so make sure you balance your diet to compensate for that. I also stack it with an amplified creatine monohydrate, green tea supplements, and fish oil. Also use L-Glutamine along with my MM shake after each workout for proper recovery. Just be careful with MM as it WILL make you fat if you are not eating clean and staying consistent with your training. Otherwise I do recommend it highly. Oh…and it tastes great.

I had been drinking Cytosport’s premade, 11oz Muscle Milk (Chocolate Milk flavor), for months and I decided to give the Chocolate (NOT Chocolate Milk, like the bottled kind I had been drinking) a try. Well the Chocolate powder tastes even better than the premixed Chocolate Milk flavor. I’ve burned through a 2.47 bottle in about a week, drinking sometimes three glasses/servings a day. I use Muscle Milk as a meal replacement and/or snack, and it really satisfies me. Zero lactose means (for me) no gas (of course, I mix it with water, versus milk). I really cannot say enough about this product: the taste is delicious; it mixes up well (not really clumpy like some other protein mixes, but do stir it well); and I feel really good after drinking it (satisfied, and not bloated). In fact, I just purchased three more 2.47 lb bottles (2 Chocolate, and 1 Vanilla Creme — which I have never tried before). I highly recommend it.

Timex T5G971 Review
This is my fourth HRM and by far the best. The display is big and very readable even in dim light without using the indiglo. My last two HRMs were the older model Timex Ironman 100 lappers. They became very unreliable even with new batteries. I used to have to use electrode gel just to get them to work at all. This HRM gives me an accurate reading immediately and continues to do so as my heart rate changes during my workout. It works great even without electrode gel. It doesn’t have any fancy features but I don’t need them. It does record your time in the zone that you can set and you average and peak heart rates. It also has a recovery time feature that measures how many BPM your HR drops in one minute. The sensor belt will also work with the HR display most treadmills and other indoor machines. This HRM has already improved my training significantly because it is so accurate and responsive. I highly recommend it.

I was looking for a heartrate monitor to track not only my aerobics workouts but also my weight training workouts. I wanted a wireless monitor with a large enough display so it was easy to read (yes, I’ve joined the reading glasses population). I needed to be able to replace the batteries myself, and it would be nice if it could tell time in case I wanted to use it as a watch.
The Timex met all my needs and at a very good price. I was a bit concerned because I have a 54″ chest and a fairly large wrist. I was also concerned because the packaging is not specific about whether it has a coded signal so that it does not pick up other heartrate monitor signals. The chest strap fits me well but if my chest gets too much larger, it’s going to be a bit snug. The wrist band also fits but it’s in the last hole, and so far, I haven’t picked up anyone else’s monitor or bled over onto anyone else’s cardio machines.

Clif Builder’s Bar Review
A very good protein bar. The cookies and cream is very tasty, yet it is not too sweet. I find that the Builder’s Bar has one big advantage over the regular Clif Bar (other than the protein of course): the Builder’s Bar isn’t super sweet. I really enjoy the regular Clif Bar but sometimes it leaves me feeling like I just ate a really sweet candy bar. The Builder’s Bar doesn’t suffer from that. The downside to the Builder’s Bar, however, is that it does have a bit of saturated fat. In sum, not a bad bar and much tastier than many of the other protein bars I have tried.

As a Chemistry Professor and a healthy-lifestyle enthusiast, cycling to and from work daily, I need a quick-yet-wholesome meal to tie me over through the ten plus hour days. Bravo Clif Bar Creators! This yummy bar is a feast to the tastebuds and a fill for the tummy; I rely on two a day to fuel me to be as interesting as I can be for my many students. I must concur with other reviewers that this is the best-tasting of the high protein bars by far. Thus far, I’ve had only the chocolate and peanut butter bars, but they are both outstanding – far removed from the sawdust-like taste of some other protein bars. Having read other reviews, I’m now excited to try the mint chocolate and vanilla almond bars as well.

Clif Kid Twisted Fruit Ropes Review
These are really good. A little on the sour side but my kids and I love them. They are quite a bit in the grocery store so I was happy to find them on here. I like the variety pack too because we all like a different flavor.

I’m an adult and got these for myself for a yummy mid-day snack without turning to candy. These hit the spot and don’t have all the sugar and unhealthiness, plus no gelatin so they are vegetarian-friendly! And each is a serving of fruit, so what’s not to love?

I bought these Cliff Kids Twisted Fruit Ropes for my son. He did not care for them, but I (his Mother) love them. They should take the word “kid” off the label and leave them as just Clif Twisted Fruit Ropes! They are conveniently packaged so that I can put one or two in my purse for when I need a quick, nutritional snack while on the go! They are about the size of a pen and just slip right in my purse. I buy these for me now…..not my kid. These taste great!!!!

These are the best snack ever! They are delicious and don’t have the bad ingredients some other fruit snacks do. I usually buy these at Costco because it’s cheaper there but there have been some great promotions on Amazon.

100% Whey Protein Review
I have been using protein powders for only about a year now, and I’ve tried several brands. I started with store brands, and didn’t like them much. ON Gold Standard was the most recent one I tried, and I’m quite satisfied with the quality and price. First, with “Subscribe and Save”, I got it for about $7/lb (no tax), which is the best price I’ve found online and in-store for high quality protein powder. This powder has the features I’m looking for: fast & slow digesting protein, lactase (I’m lactose intolerant) and tastes good. The best feature IMO though is that among the other protein powders, this has very low cholesterol, which is a concern for me.

This protein is amazing, period. I’ve always shopped around for the best and cheapest protein and this is by far the greatest in both area’s. Aside from some sites that do reduced price for buying large orders O.N.’s 10lb bag is the best deal out there (and to beat it’s price you have to order 4-5 months worth of protein from the other sites anyway.) It even beats out any deal’s with GNC’s ridiculous gold card offers. Also the savings increase if you use Amazon’s subscribed shipping (which I highly recommend to anyone planning to use this for more than a one or two month period,) which puts it as the best deal I’ve ever seen on protein so far.

Just got this a day ago. So far so good, but a word of advice: NEVER MIX WITH HOT WATER!!! And by hot I mean boiling or close to boiling temperature. Instead of dissolving, it congeals and forms chunks of flotsam that have a meat-like texture. Needless to say you don’t want to eat that. But lukewarm water seems to work fine. I don’t know if all whey powder behaves like this, but in either case I won’t do that again.
