Alli does work! But as most users said, you have to watch your fat intake, portion control and exercise. The weight will come off gradually. It clearly states that. Whoever says it doesn’t work, didn’t follow the guidelines and was clearly expecting a quick fix. The weight didn’t accumulate overnight so don’t expect to lose it overnight.

I’ve been using this for over a year and I slowly, but surely lost over 30 lbs (went from 185 to 155). Getting use to the “side effects” at first was an issue, but the better you watched your fat intake and exercised more the less “side effects” you would have. It expensive and I’ve been buying it from local stores with coupons and thought I was getting a good deal then, but I wish I would have looked here sooner – this is a great price. I’m much healthier now than I ever have been and I’m just looking to lose 20 more pounds and am slightly afraid to stop taking this, but since I’ve used this I’ve gotten into such healthy eating and exercise habits (which other than help lose weight alli helped me get into those healthy habits that feel like second nature to me). Don’t waste your money if your not serious about losing weight because it will take time for the weight to melt off like it did for me. I do recommend this for those who are serious about losing weight and getting into healthy life habits.

This is I think a great product! But it is very critical that you follow the directions about your fat intake because you will have the side effects. It is definiatly not a quick weight lose pill. But however it will help those of us that have a hard time losing without excercise.

I have been taking alli for almost a month and have lost no weight due to this pill but what I have realized is that it has helped me to not gain weight. For the first two weeks I was doing great but then a social event came up and I splurged. I had no nasty side effects other than the normal oily stools. (I have never experienced any really nasty side effects from alli.) I gained back 3 pounds from the 6 pounds I lost the first two weeks from eating around 1500 calories a day, not from taking alli. I then got right back on the band wagon and was good for another week staying about the same weight, which is normal. I fell off after another social event and then starting eating “real food” not bird food for a few days and realized the alli was keeping me from putting any weight back on. I thought “this is exactly what I need.” I had finally found the miracle pill that could help me through the harder parts of dieting, the days when you just want to eat like a normal person. I am now going to start the tracy anderson methods dvd (amazing reviews on amazon.com, oprah’s show and a few other websites), madonna and gwenyth paltrow personal trainer. I am hoping with the combination of the two I can loose that last 8 lbs to fit back into my before holidays jeans :0). Good Luck to all that give it a try. Fair warning this pill will not help you loose weight but it will help you to maintain your weight easier and also make it easier to stay on track. I am in my mid 20’s and only wanted to lose 15lbs to put me back at a healthy weight.
